Yes, there is a product development process for Fast Fashion styles similar to regular fashion styles. What is different in the case of fast fashion is that once you finalise the sizes, fabric quality, packaging, and overall designs (this means the patterns and body structure), then you can play around with as many colours and prints as you want without changing the core body design - WITHOUT paying again for product development charges besides the initiation time.
You can literally keep 5 core body designs and have over 100s of prints and designs every drop, and you won't be charged again for product development. You just have to approve new fabric prints - which you can do even over email.
