Can an on-boarded vendor be disqualified?

Yes, although disqualification is not common and is considered only in serious or repeated cases.

Hula Global maintains clear operational and ethical standards to protect both buyers and vendors on the platform. When those standards are not met beyond a reasonable threshold, disqualification may be considered.

Some situations that could potentially lead to disqualification include:

  1. Repeated Failure to Dispatch Orders on Time

Timely dispatch is critical in global supply chains. Occasional delays due to genuine operational challenges may be understandable if communicated properly. However, consistent delays beyond a reasonable time limit, especially without proactive communication, can significantly impact buyer trust and platform reliability. Repeated dispatch failures may lead to performance penalties and, in severe cases, disqualification.

  1. Violation of the Code of Conduct

All vendors are expected to adhere to Hula Global’s code of conduct. This includes maintaining professional communication, ethical business practices, transparency in documentation, and compliance with agreed terms. Any serious breach of these standards may result in immediate review and possible disqualification.

  1. Production Output Not Meeting PO Quality Parameters

If delivered goods consistently fail to meet the agreed Purchase Order (PO) specifications, including quality benchmarks, materials, measurements, or compliance requirements, corrective action may be initiated. Continued non-conformance, particularly without willingness to rectify issues, may lead to disqualification.

Hula Global reserves the right to disqualify a vendor if it determines that the vendor’s actions negatively impact buyers, operational integrity, or platform standards. This decision is taken after internal evaluation and is not applied arbitrarily.

It is important to note that vendors who are disqualified are not eligible for refunds and are not permitted to re-register on the platform in the future.

That said, the objective of vendor evaluation is not exclusion but accountability. Most issues are resolved through communication, feedback, and corrective action. Disqualification is reserved for serious, repeated, or policy-violating cases where continued association is no longer viable.
