At Hula Global, most standard menswear categories are well within our production capabilities. Products such as denim jackets, leather jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, shirts, and trousers are part of our core manufacturing strengths and are produced efficiently across our partner factories in India.
However, certain highly technical and performance-based products can present challenges.
For example, functional outerwear similar to that developed by brands like The North Face, particularly jackets using advanced insulation technologies such as ThermoBall insulation, can be complex to manufacture within the current ecosystem of Indian factories we work with. These types of garments involve:
Advanced insulation technology
Heat-sealed or taped seams
Specialized waterproof and windproof membranes
Technical performance testing standards
Precision construction and finishing
Producing such outerwear requires highly specialized machinery, R&D capabilities, and technical expertise that are not as widely available in India as in countries that specialize in high-performance outdoor manufacturing.
It is important to clarify that this limitation applies specifically to high-performance, technology-driven outerwear. Regular outerwear categories, including denim jackets, leather jackets, bombers, sweatshirts, and hoodies, are not challenging for us and remain some of our strongest product verticals.
In summary, while Hula Global is well-equipped to handle a broad range of menswear categories, highly technical performance outerwear with proprietary insulation or advanced fabric technology can be comparatively challenging within our current manufacturing network.
