What are your typical response times?

Hula Global's response times are flexible and vary across different levels of contact, due to their connection to the stage of the brand's engagement in the manufacturing journey.

Rather than assigning the same response time to each inquiry or message, Hula Global implements a tiered time response approach based on the urgency and operational response proportioned to the commitment, complexity, and activity of each stage.

This method balances the efficient allocation of the organizational response, coupled with professional communication to all the brands.

While evaluating feasibility during the prospecting stage, it is common for brands to take more time to respond. At this stage, brands are looking to see if Hula Global is a suitable manufacturing partner, offering details such as product concepts, estimated costs, order amounts, and time frames.

Since no formal actions are being taken at this stage, the typical response time from Hula Global is 3 to 5 business days. Longer response times, sometimes up to two weeks, may be encountered if there is a large number of inquiries. This is particularly true if there is a large number of other prospective brands that need to be responded to.

When a brand enters the Product Development Stage, the level, structure, and frequency of communication increase and become collaborative. The brand is now ready to begin the active stage of work with Hula Global, which includes sampling, sourcing fabrics, making patterns, and other technical work. Hula Global assigns an SPOC (Single Point of Contact) who does weekly progress reports and communicates any roadblocks to the brands.

Besides these weekly reports, brands have the ability to directly ask questions through a dedicated system, which could include tickets, emails, or calls, depending on what is included in their proposed product development.

Their response and roadblock resolution are more customized and predictable to the needs of the project at that stage. This structure allows brands to add voice and customize requests to the development team without bogging the manufacturing team down with too many requests.

The most frequent and fastest response times happen during the Production Stage as large-scale manufacturing is in full swing. Active Production consists of multiple components; coordination of the following is needed: the sourcing of materials, cutting, stitching, quality assurance, packaging, and logistics. To facilitate this, Hula Global sends updates daily to brands, which track their orders in real time.

Moreover, a production dashboard is available to brands that outlines milestones, the status, and any delays.

For specific questions, Hula Global has a response time of 24 to 48 hours to address the concern.

Brands have the option to escalate the concern from the Account Manager to a Team Leader as needed, in case they feel the issue requires more immediate attention.

One critical aspect that affects response times is how quickly payment is confirmed. Hula Global is very straightforward with all clients.

For any stage of the process, be it the development of the product or in the production stage, nothing will commence until the payment is received. Operationally, it is correct, and this policy is often misunderstood by new clients.

Some brands mistakenly assumed they were in the development of the product, and this stemmed from some communication, like a deal that they would develop the product and a confirmation in writing, but there would be a lag in payment, identifying an issue, such as one week or two.

Hula Global is very transparent and straightforward. Operationally and financially, they are very correct; nothing will be initiated until there is a payment for development of the product or for the production of the product POs. It is just, it is reasonable, and there will not be any inefficiency or accountability. It will be on both sides.

Response times for Hula Global are also very formal, and in addition to time response, we also value communication, document everything, and also value clarity.

Everything is formal during the whole process, and our communication is very document-based, update stabilizations, and they will not use informal messaging or casual talks to voice chat. Everything will be streamlined, and the tracks will be centralized to ensure that there is no confusion and there will be trust.

Hula Global plans its communication strategies considering the experience of each brand. Established companies with their own production staff may center their discussions around data, while newer companies may need additional guidance, more elaborate explanations, and strategizing.

Communication is supportive, simple, and effective, and the management teams at all levels of Hula Global employ strategies designed for each situation.

A global company like Hula Global with clients in the United States, the European Union, Australia, and India, has to consider the time differences and the unique approach to work of different countries.

The time differences lead to flexible scheduling of meetings, reliance on written documents, and frequent reminders to reduce the impact of these differences during collaboration.

Hula Global balances response times with engagement level, urgency, and activity across stages of the production cycle. During prospecting, the company may take longer to respond, but in production, they will provide real-time updates.

Communication and response times are based on confirmed payments and strategic milestones to provide a professional, predictable, and structured collaboration to all brand partners.
