Brands with Hula Global works

In general, Hula Global’s Private Label Program collaborates with brands that have a well-defined structure, focus on growth, and have moved beyond experimental manufacturing. We do not work with startups that are at the initial ideation stage.

We work with enterprise brands, blank apparel distributors, established retailers, and venture-funded direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, which is a high-growth category. We focus on brands that have proven demand, defined product lines, and established distribution strategies.

Most of our private label customers are enterprise fashion brands with a retail presence. Such companies are multi-channel sellers, whether through proprietary e-commerce, bricks and mortar, marketplaces, and/or wholesale.

They need consistency in the production and supply processes, as well as adherence to international retail benchmarks. For these customers, manufacturing is about garment production, but also about brand protection within hundreds of units of a single style.

We collaborate with large retailers that run private label collections with their own in-house brands. These retailers source from various categories such as basics, seasonal collections, or performance wear.

In most cases, they need consistent volumes (read container-level volumes), AQL-based quality control, integration of bar codes, and retail-ready packaging. We have built our Private Label Program to operationally cater to this need effectively.

Another significant group of brands we work with are funded startups. These are brands that have crossed product-market fit (PMF) boundaries, drawn funding, and demonstrated demand.

They have moved past trying the market with small test runs to betting on their top-selling products and increasing production to meet demand. Such brands require a manufacturing partner who can produce 10,000–20,000 units per style and ensure consistent sizing, fabric quality, and packaging.

We work with digital-first and DTC brands with strong online communities and predictable sales. Many of these brands have seasonal collections or drops. If they identify winning products, they need reliable bulk production to prevent stockouts and reduce customer dissatisfaction.

Our private label business model enables them to scale effectively without sacrificing control over quality.

The other type of brands that we work with include niche lifestyle brands that target particular product categories such as activewear, loungewear, streetwear, resort wear, or uniforms.

Such brands may not necessarily be huge global brands, but they have organized merchandising programs and organized growth plans. They may also require specialized factories for specific product categories, and our manufacturing model is conducive to such specialization.

We also work with international brands that may want to diversify or stabilize their supply chains. Some brands come to us after experiencing difficulties with quality inconsistencies, delivery times, or a lack of compliance from other manufacturers. Our program is beneficial because it combines quality control, logistics, and organized factory partnerships.

Another category of our private label customers is luxury and premium brands. These brands are very concerned about craftsmanship, fabric quality, custom trims, and packaging design. They may require exclusivity agreements, NDAs, and finishing specifications. Our capacity to combine custom branding, sustainable materials, and inspection processes makes us a good fit for premium brands.

However, the brands we usually work with have some common traits. They have a clear vision for their products. They know their target audience. They have realistic volume projections that are consistent with container production volumes. And they are willing to invest in quality, compliance, and long-term manufacturing partnerships.

The type of brands we do not usually serve through the Private Label Program are early-stage entrepreneurs who are still exploring their market niche or testing very small quantities. For such brands, our Co-Pilot Program is usually more appropriate. The Private Label Program is intended for scaled brands—financially, operationally, and strategically.

Our usual client has a growth-minded business. They are not searching for a transactional supplier; they are searching for a structured manufacturing partner. They appreciate documentation, planning, inspection procedures, and supply chain visibility.

They are interested in developing sustainable business operations rather than pursuing short-term production hacks.

Geographically, we service brands in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East. Many of these brands are global and need compliance-ready production for multiple regions at once.

In conclusion, we usually service enterprise brands, retailers, funded startups, and established DTC brands that are past their PMF and ready to scale with large-scale manufacturing.

These brands are interested in quality control, reliable supply, customized branding, and logistics. If a brand has established demand, structured operations, and a long-term growth strategy, our Private Label Program is set up to help them with scalable, compliant, and professionally managed production.
