How can a factory get in touch with Hula Global if they want to work with you?

can a factory get in touch with Hula Global

This is a question we occasionally receive from factory operators who are interested in working with Hula Global. While the intent behind the question is understandable, the answer is a straightforward one.

No, factories cannot directly reach out to Hula Global to initiate a partnership.

This is not because we are inaccessible or unwilling to collaborate, but because we follow a very selective and structured approach when it comes to factory partnerships. As a supply partner working with brands across different stages, we place a strong emphasis on consistency, reliability, and long-term operational discipline. For this reason, we do not operate on an inbound onboarding model for factories.

At Hula Global, we are extremely selective about who we work with. Manufacturing partnerships are not transactional for us; they are long-term relationships that directly impact product quality, timelines, and brand trust. Because of this, we do not onboard factories based on introductory calls, cold outreach, or short-term evaluations.

If a factory operator is genuinely strong, consistent, and reliable, we prefer to observe their work over an extended period of time before even initiating a conversation. In most cases, we observe a factory for over a year before discussions begin. This observation phase allows us to understand how a factory operates across different situations: peak seasons, pressure timelines, quality challenges, and operational constraints.

Once a factory reaches the stage where a discussion is initiated, the process does not end there. Our factory onboarding and verification process itself takes over six months to complete. This is a deliberate decision, not an operational delay. Manufacturing excellence cannot be evaluated quickly, and we do not believe in fast-tracking partnerships that involve complex supply chains and real financial risk for brands.

During onboarding, factories are assessed against multiple operational and ethical parameters. One of the most critical requirements is adherence to our standard code of conduct. This code defines how we expect our partner factories to operate, both from a business and compliance perspective. Alignment on these standards is non-negotiable.

It is important to understand that our selectiveness is not a reflection of distrust toward factories. Instead, it is a reflection of the responsibility we carry toward the brands we work with. Every factory we onboard becomes an extension of our supply ecosystem. Any inconsistency at the factory level ultimately affects the brands that trust us with their production.

Because of this, we do not accept factory partnerships based on claims, certifications alone, or short-term performance. Long-term consistency matters far more than isolated successes. Observing factories over time allows us to assess not just output quality, but also stability, process discipline, and operational maturity.

This approach also ensures fairness across our supply network. All factories that work with Hula Global go through the same level of scrutiny and evaluation. There are no shortcuts, no preferential treatment, and no exceptions to the onboarding framework. This creates a level playing field and maintains the integrity of our manufacturing standards.

For factory operators reading this, it is worth noting that being selective does not mean being closed. It simply means that partnerships are initiated on our end, after sufficient observation and internal evaluation. If a factory aligns with our standards, operates with consistency, and maintains ethical and operational discipline over time, it naturally enters our consideration framework.

This structured approach allows us to maintain quality, reliability, and trust across our supply ecosystem, values that are critical to both our business and the brands we support.
