Liquidation program fees and deposits operate on a deal-holding and credit system. Refunds depend on whether deals have been executed and the stage of the transaction.
Here's the complete breakdown:
1. Program Access Fee ($899 or $999)
Non-refundable.
The access fee grants you:
Entry to the liquidation deal community
Real-time notifications of live surplus deals
Deal information (manifests, pricing, quantities, photos)
Access for 1 year (or as specified in your membership)
Once you've been granted access to the community and deal flow, this fee cannot be refunded — even if you don't purchase any deals.
Why? Access gives you visibility into time-sensitive inventory deals. Whether you choose to act on those deals is your decision, but the access itself has been provided.
2. Deposit Amount ($2,500 or 10% of Invoice Value)
Refundable as credit or goods — not as cash.
Your deposit serves two purposes:
Holds deals for you while samples are in transit (blocks inventory from being sold to others)
Offsets your final invoice when you close a deal
If you close deals:
Your deposit is credited toward your final invoice
Example: $25,000 deal, $2,500 deposit = you pay $22,500 at closing
The deposit functions as a down payment, not a fee
If you don't close any deals within 2 years or 5 deals:
Cash refunds are not possible due to India's capital control regulations (restrictions on transferring funds from India to international accounts).
You have two options:
Option 1: One-Year Complimentary Access Extension
Get an additional year of access to liquidation deals (normally $899 value)
No additional payment required
Allows you more time to find the right deals
Option 2: Goods Credit Equivalent to $2,500
Receive inventory from any live deal worth $2,500 at liquidation pricing (not factory pricing)
Example: If a deal offers t-shirts at $0.50 each, you get 5,000 units
You choose the deal and products
Shipping costs apply (you arrange and pay for logistics)
Goods can only be shipped to:
Your registered business address
Your warehouse or fulfillment center
Goods cannot be shipped to:
Third-party warehouses
Other manufacturers or traders
3. Sample Courier Charges
Non-refundable.
When you request samples for a deal:
First 5 deals: Sample courier charges included in your $2,500 deposit
6th deal onward: $500 per deal + courier costs
Once courier services have been used to ship samples to you (or your representative), these fees cannot be refunded, whether you approve the deal or not.
4. Deal Blocking Deposit (Temporary Hold)
When you request samples for a specific deal, your deposit (or portion of it) is used to block that deal with the factory.
If you approve the deal:
Your deposit is credited toward the final invoice
You proceed with purchase
If you reject the deal within 48 hours:
The deal is released to the next person on the waitlist
Your deposit remains valid for other deals
No penalty for rejecting deals
If you fail to respond within 48 hours:
The deal is automatically released to the next person
Your deposit remains valid, but your priority scoring may be affected
Repeatedly requesting samples without responding damages your credibility in the program
5. Deal Purchase Payment
Once you approve a deal and commit to purchase:
Payment terms: Cash-and-Carry (FOB)
Full payment required before goods are dispatched
No payment plans, no 30/70 splits, no credit terms
Example: $25,000 deal, $2,500 already deposited = pay $22,500 before shipment
If you commit to a deal but fail to pay:
Your deposit is forfeited to cover the factory's holding costs and lost opportunity
You lose access to future deal-holding privileges
The deal is released to the next buyer
No refunds after deal commitment.
Once you say "yes" to a deal and commit to purchase, there are no refunds or cancellations — even if you haven't paid yet. Backing out after commitment results in deposit forfeiture.
6. Third-Party Inspection Fees
Non-refundable.
If you arrange third-party inspection (recommended for all deals):
Inspection fees are paid directly by you to the inspection agency
Hula Global is not involved in inspection billing
If you reject a deal based on inspection results, inspection fees are not refundable
Special Circumstances
What if the manifest is incorrect or inventory is misrepresented?
If Hula Global provides inaccurate deal information (wrong quantities, misrepresented product quality, fake brand claims):
We take full responsibility
Your deposit remains intact and available for other deals
You are not penalized for rejecting the deal
However, liquidation deals are sold "as-is" with the understanding that:
Inventory may have minor defects (stitching issues, QC rejects, overproduction)
This is factory surplus, not retail-ready perfection
Third-party inspection is strongly recommended to verify condition before purchase
What if I change my mind after inspection but before commitment?
If you request samples, receive inspection results, and decide not to proceed — that's completely acceptable.
No penalty
Your deposit remains valid for other deals
Inspection fees are not refundable (you paid the inspector directly)
You must respond within 48 hours of receiving samples/inspection to avoid deal auto-release.
What if the factory cancels the deal after I've committed?
If the factory cancels after you've committed and paid:
Full refund of your payment
Your deposit remains intact for future deals
Hula Global assists in finding replacement inventory if available
This is rare but can happen if the factory receives a higher offer or discovers inventory issues.
Before You Join the Liquidation Program
Liquidation is designed for experienced traders, resellers, and importers who:
Can make fast decisions (deals move in hours, not days)
Have capital ready (cash-and-carry, no payment terms)
Understand surplus inventory risks (factory rejects, QC issues, as-is sales)
Have representation on the ground (India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka) or use Hula representation
If you're uncertain whether Liquidation is right for you:
Understand the risks: Surplus deals are time-sensitive and sold as-is
Have capital allocated: $10K-$50K+ per deal is common
Be prepared to inspect: Third-party inspection is strongly recommended
Know your market: You need buyers ready to take liquidation inventory
This is not a beginner program. If you're new to surplus trading, consider starting with smaller test deals before committing your full deposit.

Questions or Concerns?
Liquidation is a fast-moving, high-commitment trading program. Deals are time-sensitive and sold as-is.
Before you join: If you're uncertain about the capital requirements, deal flow, or risks, contact our team. We'd rather ensure you're prepared than have you commit prematurely.
During the program: If you have concerns about a specific deal, manifest accuracy, or inspection results, contact your Hula representative immediately.
We're committed to transparency in every deal, but liquidation inventory is sold as-is, and refunds are not available once you've committed to a purchase.
Product Development Charges: Non-refundable
Product Development Charges are non-refundable because these are service charges. These charges cover the effort, time, coordination, and expertise involved in developing your product. Since this is a service that has already been rendered, it cannot be reversed or refunded once the work has been completed.
These charges ensure that your product is developed as per your requirements and specifications, and they represent the work that goes into turning your idea into a production-ready concept.
Sample Charges-100% Refundable
Sample charges are 100% refundable. These charges are adjusted with the billing amount when you place the order.
This means that once you move forward with production and place a confirmed purchase order, the amount paid for the samples is adjusted in your final billing. This allows you to evaluate the sample with confidence, knowing that the cost is not an additional burden if you proceed with the order.
Samples are an important step in the production process, and this structure ensures transparency and flexibility.
Sample (re) charges- manufacturer error
If the samples were not made as per the specification (tech pack), then the samples are redone again and you don't have to pay charges for making the sample again.
In cases where the manufacturer does not follow the provided specifications or technical details mentioned in the tech pack, the responsibility lies with the manufacturer. As a result, you are not required to pay additional charges for correcting the sample. The sample will be remade to match the agreed specifications without any extra cost to you.
This ensures accountability and maintains quality standards during the sampling process.
Sample (re) charges- brand error
If the samples were not made as per the specification (tech pack) because there was no clear guideline or you missed out a comment, then you would have to bear those additional charges unless those charges are waived off or are part of iteration cost as previously agreed or if you are part of any of the accelerator plans.
In situations where the issue arises due to unclear instructions, missing details, or overlooked comments from the brand's side, the responsibility for the revision cost lies with the brand. Since the manufacturer has followed the information provided, any additional corrections would involve extra work and therefore additional charges.
However, there are exceptions. These charges may be waived off, included as part of pre-agreed iteration costs, or covered under certain accelerator plans. It is always advisable to ensure that your tech pack and instructions are detailed and clear to avoid unnecessary revisions and additional costs.
Purchase Orders- Non-refundable (except for HGQA)
Purchase Orders are non-refundable, except for HGQA. Once a purchase order is confirmed and production begins, the associated costs cannot be refunded. Production involves allocation of materials, time, and manufacturing resources, which makes these charges non-reversible.
However, if you have opted for HGQA, the refund terms may differ. In that case, please read our answer to the returns policy for more clarity.
Hula Global Quality Assurance
If you have opted for HGQA, your refunds would be determined by your policy document.
HGQA comes with its own set of terms and conditions regarding refunds. If you are enrolled under this option, your refund eligibility and process will be governed by the specific policy document provided to you. It is important to review that document carefully to understand how refunds, if any, would be handled under this plan.
Other charges
Accelerator charges: Non-refundable
Accelerator charges are non-refundable because these are service charges. These charges are related to additional services provided to support and streamline your production journey. Since they are service-based and involve active support and facilitation, they cannot be refunded once rendered.
Courier charges: Non-refundable
Courier charges are non-refundable. These charges cover the shipping and logistics involved in sending samples or documents. As these services are completed once the shipment is dispatched, they are not eligible for refund.
We hope this breakdown provides clear and structured guidance on our refund policy. Understanding which charges are refundable and which are not helps create a smooth and transparent working relationship. If you ever have questions regarding specific charges, we recommend reviewing your agreement documents carefully or reaching out for clarification before proceeding.
